We’re constantly inspired by the evolving ways people are making their homes feel more personal, layered, and full of character. Lately, a few design details have been catching our eye, and showing up in our upcoming projects.
Painted Kitchen Cabinets
We love how a coat of paint can completely transform a kitchen. Warm putty tones, moody greens, and rich blues are all having a moment, and for good reason. Painted cabinetry instantly softens a space and adds depth, personality, and a bespoke touch that standard wood finishes can’t always achieve. It’s an easy way to make a kitchen feel truly custom.

Ceilings are the New Walls
Don’t forget to look up. Whether it’s a subtle beadboard, paneled wood, or a bold painted ceiling, we’re seeing clients embrace the “fifth wall” more than ever. Adding texture, wallpaper or color overhead draws the eye up and makes a room feel intentional from every angle.

Flush Mount Lighting
The humble flush mount has had a glow-up. No longer a last-minute fixture choice, we’re finding beautiful sculptural designs in brass, ceramic, and glass that feel like jewelry for the ceiling. Perfect for hallways, mudrooms, and bedrooms, they offer the function of overhead lighting with so much more charm.

Banquette Seating
There’s something so inviting about built-in seating. It instantly says, “come stay awhile.” Whether it’s a cozy breakfast nook, a dining corner, or a reading perch, banquettes add comfort and architectural interest. Plus, they’re a smart way to maximize space without crowding a room with extra chairs.

Conversation-Starter Decor
We’re big believers that every home should have a few pieces that make people stop and ask, “Where did you find that?” Think sculptural ceramics, vintage treasures, or quirky art. These objects tell a story and bring soul to a space, grounding all the polished finishes with personality and warmth.
